About Lenorma

I was born in a small rural town in the North Mississippi Delta.  My parents, Willie and Artie Mease Poindexter,  first introduced me to the Lord Jesus Christ when I was just a small child.  I recieved the Lord in may life, and was baptised at the age of  twelve.  Growing up in the church, I learned to sing Gospel songs, but what I didn't know then is that this would be my destiny!  I am the mother of three sons, Michael, Enin and Jerry.  They were a special gift to me from the Lord.  The Lord has been so good to me.  Most people think that being wealthy means having a lot of money.  But in the city of Los Angels, CA in 1976 I found more riches than I could have ever imagined in a man named Jesus Christ, the wealthiest man alive!  I never thought of myself as being anything, but it was Jesus, Who showed me who I really was, and who He truly is.  I owe Him my everything!

Thank You Lord!

About Jesus Christ Min

Jesus Christ Ministries was inspired two years ago by God the Holy Spirit, while I was ministering in the prison.  I began to realize that you can reach people through many other ways, called helps to demonstrate the love of God.  Most people are unfulfilled today, because like Paul on the Demascus Road, they have never experienced the presence of Jesus in the Holy Spirit.  On the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit came as a mighty rushing wind, and filled the room with His presence.  Today, many people need to feel the presence of the Holy Spirit!  He is real, and He is waiting to be invited into hungry, thirsty, souls so that He can fill them again and again with His awesome presence.  As you browse through this website, my prayer is that you will feel the power of the Holy Spirit, and the love of our precious Saviour, Jesus Christ!  God Bless You!

About Jail Ministry

Jail Ministry is offered each week to imates in the local prison.  The Another Chance Program started four years ago, and it's purpose was to rehabilitate first time, and ex-offenders in the prison system by giving them the tools they need to stay out of the prison system.  And to offer them job assistance, and temporary housing.  Since this ministry began over 22 imates have recieved Jesus, as their Lord and Savior.  Some are working again, and some have been called to the ministry.  Some are still incarcerated, and are involved in the ministry there.  Imates with the greatest improvement appeared on local televison shows to tell how the preaching of the Gospel had introduced them to Jesus, and changed their lives.  Some inmates even talked to young people at different schools about gangs, drugs, and violence.  This program is not to make you think that everyone behind prison bars can be changed, but it is meant to inform you of the ones, who have been changed by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
